Dragonflylotus Designs Handspun Thread Semi-Solid Collection - semi-solid stock colorways available in a variety of fiber bases, ideal for cross stitch, embroidery, needlepoint and fabric embellishment.
Sunlit Ash Beige is spun from a 100% BFL wool fiber base. BFL (Blue Faced Leicester) is my go-to wool for cross stitch and embroidery - it's long staple length allows it to hold up to the abrasion caused by drawing it through the fabric over and over again.
Ash Beige is available in the following fiber bases:
- Sunlit Ash Beige - 100% white BFL wool (regular weight)
- Shadowed Ash Beige - 100% variegated BFL wool (regular weight)
- Frosted Ash Beige - merino wool/bamboo rayon blend (regular weight)
- Petite Ash Beige - BFL wool/silk blend (petite weight)
Recommended Fabric/Coverage:

Cross Stitch: 14-18 count Aida 1 over 1 or 28-36 count linen/evenweave 1 over 2.

Needlepoint: 1 strand for 24 count congress cloth or 2 strands for 13/18 count mono canvas
