Shadowed Holly Berry is spun from a 100% variegated BFL wool fiber base. BFL (Blue Faced Leicester) is my go-to wool for cross stitch and embroidery - it's long staple length allows it to hold up to the abrasion caused by drawing it through the fabric over and over again.

Holly Berry is available in the following fiber bases:

• Sunlit Holly Berry - 100% white BFL wool
• Shadowed Holly Berry - 100% variegated BFL wool
• Frosted Holly Berry - merino wool/bamboo rayon blend
  

Recommended Fabric/Coverage:

• Cross Stitch: 14-18 count Aida 1 over 1 or 28-36 count linen/evenweave 1 over 2.

• Needlepoint: 1 strand for 24 count congress cloth or 2 strands for 13/18 count mono canvas
