Liz's Story
When I first started spinning, I spun yarn that I'd never use - I just wasn't passionate about knitting. So, when I was done at the wheel, I'd go pick up my cross-stitch and stitch for a few hours with store-bought threads. Looking back, I really don't know why it took me so long to merge my two loves, but once I had my "light bulb moment", I've never looked back.
Working with handspun thread is a special experience - you can see and feel the time the spinner put into the thread. My goal is to bring the wealth of fiber options from the knitting/crochet world to needleartists everywhere. Don't limit yourself to cotton thread, or even just wool or silk thread. Alpaca, mohair, bamboo, cashmere, sparkle - they are all out there just waiting for your needle!
I hope you will give handspun thread a try - I know once you do, you'll never want to go back!
