Recommended Fabric/Coverage: This thread is roughly equivalent to a single strand of cotton or silk floss (think DMC 6-strand cotton or Gloriana 12-strand silk). Use it wherever you would use a single strand of floss - I love to cross stitch with it on 40 count linen.
