Ambition/Independence is spun from a 100% BFL wool fiber base. BFL (Blue Faced Leicester) is my go-to wool for cross stitch and embroidery - it's long staple length allows it to hold up to the abrasion caused by drawing it through the fabric over and over again.

Recommended Fabric/Coverage:

• Cross Stitch: 14-18 count Aida 1 over 1 or 28-36 count linen/evenweave 1 over 2.

• Needlepoint: 1 strand for 24 count congress cloth or 2 strands for 13/18 count mono canvas

All my threads are handspun on my Ashford Traveler wheel in my smokeless, cat-friendly studio. I have done all I can to ensure the colors depicted above are accurate, but please be aware that dye lots cannot be exactly duplicated and monitors can display colors differently.
